Software Sales Representative
Reports to: COO
Description
Software Sales position is responsible for generating new leads and following up on provided leads for product information. Getting the prospect interested in company products and closing the sales. Sales person is responsible for seeing the sale through to completion, which includes securing payment, as well as follow up with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and to generate possible referrals. Some travel is required from sales person for annual trade shows and training meetings.
General Skills & Training
- Must have prior successful work experience in sales, preferable related to the Software Industry to Service Companies.
- Must have excellent "people" skills and good leadership skills.
- Must have excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must have a good understanding and overall knowledge of the Service industry.
- Prefer understanding and basic knowledge of bookkeeping, job costing, profit margins, and accounting.

- Your primary responsibility is to work in conjunction with our Marketing Department to achieve the first part of our primary goal — to get customers.
- Develop and strengthen our customer relations.

- Assure that we maintain our commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction.
- Represent our company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.
Duties
- Respond quickly and accurately to any and all sales prospects provided to you.
- Consistently work to develop new accounts.
- Develop your own Sales leads.
- Commit to the timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork.
- Commit to an ongoing program of self-education as well as formal education in your related fields.
- Follow company policies regarding; customer relations, quality control, conduct in customers’ businesses, other policy’s applicable to your position, dress code, credit and collections policy, and any other policies and procedures that are dictated from time to time.
- Handle inquires for incoming sales calls for all products.
- Handle sales inquires by phone, email, fax or mail for all TOM leads.
- Make follow up calls and set web demos for leads interested in TOM.
- Continually lean TOM product knowledge and brush up on skills.
- Build Client relationships at trade shows, TOM Trainings, and in town clients.
- Stay informed of competitors and industry trends and think creatively and strategically of marketing TOM to other industries outside of core.
