anyone using commission pay for there techs? how are you paying multitechs or apprentice on same job? we pay commission based on labor retail price per task. need to figure a way to pay apprentice or another tech that is on the same job without increasing invoice total. also do not want to pay commission for 2 technicians based on labor retail price on invoice total without it being divided properly between the two technicians. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advanced.

We pay commissions based on the subtotal and it is percentage based. When I need to pay more than one tech commission for a single job, I use two different commission items. I setup my common rates (I.E. 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, etc.). I only pay a max of 30% for certain jobs. If two techs work a job and are entitled to commission, I give 20% to the lead tech and 10% to the helper. It's worked for me just fine processing this way.
