Your Apple devices must be on iOS version 13.0 or higher to use the Aptora Mobile II app.
To use the latest version of the Aptora Mobile II (7.1 and higher) app, your Apple devices must be on the iOS operating system version 13.0 or greater. This iOS version was released in September 2019. This iOS requirement only applies to updating the actual app from Apple’s App Store. This does not affect your ability to use the browser version of Aptora Mobile II.
Not all Apple devices can be updated to iOS 13.0 or higher. According to the best information we could find, the following devices can accept iOS 13.0 or greater. Please be sure to do your own investigation prior to buying devices and updating apps.

iPhone 6s Plus
iPod touch (7th generation)

This iOS requirement is out of the control of Aptora. Apple is very strict about this type of matter. In fact, the main reason why Aptora just released such a major update to its mobile app was due to Apple’s strict rules.
At some point, we will be releasing an update that will not be able to run on iOS version 13.0. We don’t know when Apple will force that upon us. It is important to keep your iOS versions updated and purchase devices that will accept iOS updates far into the future.
Limitations of the Web Browser Version
Aptora offers its mobile software in the form of an actual mobile app and as a Web Application. The Web Application only requires a web browser. The browser version does have some advantages including the ability to open multiple forms using multiple tabs. It may also be used on a wider variety of devices.
The following capabilities are not available in the Web Application (web browser) version.
- GPS Asset Tracking
- Credit Card Capture (with the camera)
- Barcode Scanning
