Contacts Only — Terms of Use

Effective date: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Contacts Only app for Android, published by Aptora Corporation (Aptora). By purchasing or using the app you agree to them.

What the App Does

Contacts Only uses Android's call-screening feature to stop calls from numbers that are not saved in your contacts. Calls from your saved contacts are handled by Android itself and ring normally.

Important: you may miss calls you wanted

By design, the app blocks callers who are not in your contacts. That can include calls that matter to you — a doctor's office, a school, a pharmacy, a delivery driver, or an emergency call from an unfamiliar number. The "Allow repeat callers" option lets a second call from the same number within three minutes ring through; consider turning it on.

You are responsible for deciding whether call blocking is appropriate for you. Aptora is not liable for missed, blocked, or delayed calls of any kind, including emergency or time-sensitive calls, or for any consequences of them.

Carrier Behavior

What a blocked caller experiences (for example, whether they reach your voicemail) depends on your wireless carrier, not on the app. Voicemail behavior can vary by carrier and plan.

Purchase

The app is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Billing, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Google under Google Play's terms and refund policies.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Android devices associated with your Google Play account. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will block every unwanted call or that it will never affect a wanted call.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aptora's total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
