We are an established CPA firm specializing in small business accounting, consulting, and individual and business tax preparation. We are seeking a full-time Accountant/Tax Preparer. Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for approximately 20 small businesses. 
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations using QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and similar accounting programs. 
  • Handle data entry into QuickBooks and similar accounting programs, make adjusting journal entries as needed. 
  • Process payroll and prepare quarterly/annual payroll tax filings. 
  • Prepare individual tax returns (Form 1040). 
  • Prepare business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065). 
  • Schedule appointments and greet clients during tax season. 

Position Requirements 

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification with the ability to file tax returns. 
  • Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online). 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in individual and business tax preparation. 
  • Friendly, energetic, and reliable demeanor. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: Starting pay $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year including commissions and bonuses
