Job description:

We are looking for a smart, reliable person with good attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and the grit to not give up when things get hard.

You will be supporting one main and a few small proprietary software programs for customers, assisting with internal questions regarding the software, testing bug fixes and new builds, and updating help topics.

You will be expected to handle tickets via both phone and e-mail. Issues are screened by our help desk receptionist before being sent to Tier 2.

About The Company

We create, sell, and support specialized accounting software for the service and construction industry. We make a very specific “QuickBooksĀ®” type of software.

While we would prefer someone with accounting experience but, we have a specialized 12 step training program to bring you up to speed! The only skills that are non-negotiable are reliability and tenacity.

Responsibilities

* Provide quality support by responding to tickets and phone calls that are screened by our receptionist.
* Become an expert on our software with a basic understanding of common bookkeeping/accounting practices.
* Provide in-house support to new and existing employees regarding our software.
* Provide support to new and existing software customers.
* Master new features as they are added to our software.
* Perform software testing and report bugs.
* Review and update our training materials and help topics.

Requirements
*Basic Helpdesk Experience is extremely helpful!
*Troubleshooter mindset
*Knowledge of Windows 7, 10 OS
*Knowledge of Windows Server is a plus
*Experience with SQL Server is a plus
*Software Testing Experience is a plus
*Experience with bookkeeping software is a major plus
*Bookkeeping or classes in accounting are plusses

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
