Because of the way QuickBooks® labels it’s address fields, it is not uncommon for a database which Aptora converted for use with Total Office Manager® to have customer names appearing in the “Address” field of customer records. Running a built-in utility can correct the problem.
- From the main menu, click Tools | Utilities. The Utilities window will appear.
- Click “Fix Address Fields” to highlight that selection, then click the OK button. The “Fix Address Fields” options window will appear.
- IMPORTANT: Closely read and fully understand the description of how the utility functions. It is strongly advised that all users log out of Total Office Manager before running the utility. Always backup your company files before running the utility.
- After a full understanding of the utility and it’s ramifications is achieved, select the various options desired and click the OK button to proceed.
