Introduction

The Serial Number list gives you a history and shows the current Serial Numbers you have in stock as well as serial numbers for a serialized item you have sold or is no longer in stock.

Form Access

  • From the main menu, click Company | Inventory Adjustment | Serial Number List

Field & Button Definitions

All of the following options can be accessed by selecting a record on the Serial Numbers List and right-clicking on it:

  • View History – Open the Serial Number History form for that item.

Usage

You can use the Serial Numbers List to view the current status of Serial Numbers for any Serialized Item. For example, you can use the filters available to search for a specific item and use the “In Stock” filter to see how many you have in stock. You can also use the “Not In Stock” filter so see how many are not in stock (i.e. Sold).

In addition, you can access the history for a specific serial number from the Serial Numbers List. On the Serial Number History form, you can see other relevant information related to that serial number such as when it was purchased (and on what PO), when it was sold (and on what Sale/Invoice), department, warehouse, and  its cost.
